How many months

I have a dumb question for you guys..and i think something similar was posted before but i can't find it. I'm 25 weeks so how many months pregnant am i? my fiance is saying i'm only 5 1/4 but online it says i am 6 1/2?
I'm so confused

There isnt 4 weeks in a month. The only month with 4 weeks in it is february.

I thought that's how they counted it. Ah now I'm confused.

It also depends where you are from, ive said this in other threads, here in Alberta, my Doctor counts months as follows

4w- 1 month
8w- 2 months

Ect.

This is because here your due date (for ex) Jan 2nd and your date of conception is April 4th. Making you just shy of ten months. The reason they do it this way is tecnically here they believe you are pregnant a full nine months. This is how they get that you are full term at 37 weeks.


But if your confussed used your DOC and swich your month over every time its that day.

tbh i know its not correct but i just use 4 weeks = 1 month...so i would say in 2 days time i will be 8 months even though im not...i do it my way because it works for me...i just say pregnancy is up to 10 months and that'll do for me lmao x

I've been counting it like that aswell, but I thought that's how it was meant to be counted. I got all confused when I realised my due date was at 40 weeks, and technically they don't count a pregnancy as 9 months it's SO confusing!
