How many naps does your 4 month old take?

Shes not quite 4 months, but nearly.

Maisie hardly ever slept during the day, but i started putting her in her cot when i could tell she was tired, and she goes off on her own with a few minutes.

She now has about 5 naps a day, between 20 minutes and an hour and a half long.

She goes to bed between 7-8pm and wakes for a bottle around 3.30am then gets up between 6/7am


Does this sound about right?

Sounds fine, similar to us. If Maisie is happy, then her naps are enough for her.

my LO would nap a lot more if it wasnt for the startle reflex, he tries to about 4-5 times a day some are an hour to 2 hours some 10-20 mins, it depends if i swaddle or not. He goes to bed at 7-8pm and wakes up once or twice for a feed but recently because he has learned how to roll he wakes himself up a lot more

emily naps about 3 or 4 times a day
20 mins in the morning
1-2 hours in the afternoon
20 mins in the evening
and maybe another in between

then bed between 9 and 10
and sleeps 10 - 12 hours

sounds good to me ​
