how many oz does your 4month old drink?

alys wakes up around 7.30 and has about a 6.5oz feed and then one at around 10.45 then at around 2-3pm and then at 6ish and then maybe at around 11pm at night then sleeps through, just wondering what everyone elses 4month old did? sometimes she will take 7ounces lol!!

Dylan has 5 bottles, he has 4 8oz and 1 9oz bottle but the last two nights he's been waking through the night so he's been having another 4-5oz too. In total he's having between 41 - 46oz a day!! He's quite a big boy though, over 17lbs.

I know, he's a hungry baby. Apparently, babies are meant to take about 2.5oz for every lb in weight but may take more or less than this (mummyof3 explained to me when I asked about early weaning). My HV said you can't overfeed a baby at this age, so whatever they are taking, they obviously need. Cost a fortune though!

Brianna has anywhere from 5-6 6oz bottles a day at most she'll only leave an ounce in a couple bottles just depends on what time she wakes up for her first feed on how many she'll have

my babys not 4mounths old but i worked out the 2.5oz for every lb and he eats over that most days sometimes even almost 10oz more and his 9lbs 6oz..Does the whole over feeding thing for babys at 4months or any age? kinda worried i feed him to much now

At 4 month liss was on 4 x 8oz bottles a day and started to want a 9oz at night so we had to start weaning a week later, as it was too much. She is now at 5 months on 2 x 8oz and 2 x 6oz gradually changing those to 5oz though. Our aim is to get between 22 and 25 by 6 months

My LO was on 9oz every 3 and half hours from 14wks, he was SOO HUNGRY!!! Health visitor said he couldn't wean until 4mths and to try and fill him up with water in between!!! As soon as he turned 4mths I started him on baby rice etc, and he loved it, and immediately started taking less formula.

Meadow has 5 7oz bottles and sleeps through most of the time. Today she will prob have 6 bottles because she had one at 6am and normally doesnt have one till 9

Hannah's always been on the low end and at 4 months I'd say she was from 4-6 ounces depending on the day every 4 hours or so

Harry is still only having 4-5oz max each time. He's never been interested in formula - he was initially BFed and did a stint on hunger strike when it came to us getting him on the bottles for nursery. We're now trying to get him weaned because he just hates milk.

At the moment he's drinking 5 bottles between 7am - 7pm. Some of them he will finish, but most he'll leave a bit. He'll also occasionally have a bottle at around midnight, but again only drink two thirds of it. Not a big milk drinker at all.

Noah has 3-4oz milk every 3-4 hours and at night he takes approx 2oz he wont take no more then that, but his tummy is quite sensetive xx

I think Dylan was having more than the 2.5 oz per lb when he was younger. I was always told you can't overfeed a baby on milk. If we were BF, we would have no idea how much they were having. If a baby has too much milk, it will more than likely just bring it all back up again. Don't worry, your LO just has a good appetite!

Ever Bottle Khy Has Is 8 Oz She Has Approx 5 A Day. one of the bottles shil leave a ounce if shes REALLY full but thats it. i also put rusk in her milk so it hits the 9oz mark.

shes 3months sataday and of perfect waight, not fat or anything, and the milk shes on is hipp organic so its really heavy but nope. she still has her 8 oz. anyfink less nd all hell will break loose i tell yah lol
