We have a pushchair (icandy peach 3)that's great-parent faces, lovely for long walks etc, but not one piece fold, takes up lots of boot in car. I've been thinking if getting a lightweight stroller type one in addition for the school run or when we are short of boot space on holidays etc.

However-dh is sure we should only have the one. Where as I think I should have two as I will still need both! He thinks this is most unreasonable!

How any prams do you ladies have? Do you think having two is excessive?!

We have just 1 pram, which we never use.

But we do have 4 wraps/carriers :)

I have 3. But there is good reason. I have a double for my ds who is 2 and my dd who is 8 weeks. We then have a stroller for ds and a push chair with car seat attachs for dd. so if I ever need to take just one of them out its easy.

I have 3. One is a double so DD can go in it too, but we rarely use that as she's good at walking now. A pushchair and a light stroller.

I have 2 - a phil and teds double which I use for walks around the local area, and a Micralite Superlite for the car boot if we go to the shops etc. Bought the Micralite for the exact reasons you are talking about - it's lighter and easier for lifting in and out, plus it doesn't take up the whole boot if we are going on holidays etc. I use both regularly.

I have 2. a double tandem buggy and a single oyster. I will soon have 4 as going to buy 2 little strollers to take on holiday. just the cheap kind that fold up small.
I think it is fine to have 2 personally as they have different uses. if I have just my daughter on a wed id never take her out in the double

I just have a single oyster, a buckle carrier, and two wraps. But then I only have one baby and we don't travel much. When DD is a bit older we might look at getting a little stroller that will take up less space in the car but only if we need to; I love my oyster and I want to use it as much as possible when not using the slings.

I don't think it's unreasonable to have two pushchairs at all!

We have a sit-n-stand which is best for smooth surfaces, a double jogging stroller for bumpier surfaces or longer walks (also connects to back of bike), a single stroller that came with our car seat that I dislike and plan to give away, and a cheap umbrella stroller. I'm probably getting a better double as the jogging stroller has side by side seats and doesn't fit thru doors. We also have a wagon with seatbelts that we use for short walks. Mostly we use the wagon, and the sit n stand. It does seem like a lot but each has its purpose!

atm ive 3. One is ds2s old pram which isnt used anymore. then i have my tandem oyster max as ds2 is a pain in the butt on long walks. and i also have a chicco london stroller ive never used but was sent that as a "nice gesture" after a bouncy seat snapped with my baby in it xx

Currently 2. I've had 10 total with 5 at one time being the most (although most were for sale).

I keep coming back to my favourite - the bugaboo bee. Parent faces and is lightweight enough to not need a stroller. I can carry that pushchair up and down stairs with my baby still in it so far. It's the only pushchair I've ever outright loved. I've had quinny buzz (hate), bugaboo frog (love), bugaboo cameleon (okay), icandy peach (hate), mamas and papas urbo (okay), quinny buzz again (detest this time), cosatto yo (HATEHATEHATE), bugaboo bee (LOVE), generic cheap stroller (hate) and bugaboo bee again (adoreeee).

You wouldn't think I preferred babywearing :)

We've always had a bigger all singing and dancing pram, plus an umbrella stroller. For exactly why you said. Who uses pushchair the most, you or him? That's the person who should decide imo!

I have 3, a double and 2 singles. The double takes a lot of boot space in the car and is also pretty heavy/awkward to fold so I tend to use it for the school run each day as I walk. If we're going out in the car all together it's easier to take 2 singles and me and OH will push one each. DD also goes to nursery on Thursday & Friday so I just use a single on those days.

I've only ever kept one with each child. With DS we had a large convertible stroller and then we sold it with the matching infant car seat to get a slim compact stroller.

I have an icandy strawberry and now and now a baby city jogger.

I used the icandy on a daily basis until my daughter was 1, and as soon as she started walking I wanted something more lightweight. I hate the handlebars on umbrella strollers so bought a baby city jogger which I love.

I never use the icandy now (going to sell it), and the jogger folds in one really easy, has a huge seat and is a dream to push

I have three. Icandy Apple 2 pear had this since my daughter was new born she is now nearly 19 months (going to sell as she is getting too big for the seat )
I have a mama and papas Luna, a much lighter weight pram we use for holidays and I use it if we go round the block (not often) but im going to start using jt more before number 2 arrives

And a bugaboo donkey for when number 2 arrives :) it's going to be heavy and awkward but I can't wait to use it!

I think a light weight stroller is a must for holidays etc x

We have two. A Graco Evo which is used 90% of the time and a Mother Nanu stroller. We used the stroller for our holiday as we couldn't fit the Evo with travel cot, clothes and other baby bits in the boot x

I also have 3- a phil and teds double, a main single pram
Which is a bugaboo cameleon and a stroller, baby jogger city mini

We have two-I love my sola as it's parent facing and it's what we use every day (I don't drive so we do lots of walking) and we also have a maclaren umbrella fold stroller that I will use if we're going somewhere by car or on the train etc.

We have one for now, a Baby Jogger City Select that we use with his carseat. He's not a big fan of strolling yet, so I usually wear him, but if he starts liking it, I would definitely consider adding an umbrella stroller or similar.
