How many weeks...

So I'm 8 weeks since LMP but scan put me at 7 weeks (ovulate late).

So do I tell people I'm 7 or 8 weeks??

I'm kind of the same...I'm actually 6w6d if you go buy my LMP, and only 6w3d (I think) if you go by my date of ovulation.

I'm going by my ovulation date, as I feel it's more accurate.

Scans are pretty accurate. If it says 7 weeks most likely you are 7. I'm having my dating scan today too and I suspect I may be less than I calculated as I have irregular periods. It's ok, you'll get to the end of it dear, even if it means 1 extra week

Yeah if scan said 7 wks then you most likely are, they are much more accurate than lmp x

I always go by the date rom the ultrasound based on baby's measurements.

Baby #1 LMP put me at June 9, 2009, ultrasound date June 17, born June 19
Baby #2 LMP put me at March 22, 2011, ultrasound date April 6, born April 4

I have not had an ultrasound yet for #3, but when I do I will go by the date they give me as it seems I ovulate way late in my cycles. So far ultrasound date has been pretty close for dating my previous 2 pregnancies.
