Nothing i dont believe in buying baby stuff before you hit 20 weeks in a pregnancy. Bad luck. and im glad i dont own any because i couldnt go day after day looking at it knowing i may never have a baby to use the stuff.

We have lots of girls clothes donated by friends but they aren't in our house x

A full COMPLETE baby room... I have everything from bed to clothes, stroler, car seat, carry cot, bumbo seat, duvets, clothes, shoes, hats, socks, nappies, blankets.... I can go on but you get the drift!!!!!!! as my babyshower was in may 2007.....

Only due to .......:cry::cry::cry::cry:

I have absolutely nothing and won't buy anything until I am 12 weeks pregnant. I'm scared that if I start buying I won't stop!!

i dont have anything, and have never thought of buying anything.

 jacky xxxx

My husband started buying things that we thought were cute very early on in our marriage, years ago! I just kept it stashed in storage so when we were struggling to conceive I didn't have to look at it!

None! And I won't buy any until I'm sure we are due to have one. On the contrary, I have been spoiling myself just a little as I thought we always saved, for the house, for the furniture, for DIY and last 3 years for the maternity leave which still hasn't come.

Nowt - and I don't walk under ladders, over cracks in the pavement and always say hello to lone magpies. Now that makes me sound a bit weird!?!

I don't really believe in buying anything until you are pregnant and then there is a reason... having said that i have plenty of pairs of shoes and i didn't need a reason to buy them

I have 1 tiny little babygro with 'i love my daddy' on it.... i bought if for when i get my :bfp: so i can give it to DH and he'll know.....

I used to have lots of stuff, first started buying when I was 16 and hopeful it'd be quick. I ended up with lots of stuff (travel system, DHs old cot, tons and tons of clothes and bedding), all second hand and bargains, figuring when the time came we would have saved a fortune. When we moved last, I gave almost all of it away. Still have a teddy, mobile, blanket and snowsuit that my mum gave me that were mine as a baby, a snowsuit I fell in love with years ago that cost me 75p, and a little dress set DH fell in love with and bought which I cant bear to get rid of. Oh and one of those sensor pad monitors which is worth too much to give away.

I guess I'm weird. However, I know wont buy anything til we get a heartbeat. If my SIL gives us my nieces cast-offs, we'll be keeping them regardless.

None for me.... I think it would just make it harder on me to look at baby stuff everyday.

I haven't got anything as I believe it could jinx things, when I do get my BFP I will get an early scan at 7 weeks and if that goes ok I plan on buying a pregnancy journal as I want to start it as early as possible and probably one baby grow, then I wouldn't buy anything else until the 12 week scan and wouldn't buy the bigger things until 20 weeks but will have brought some smaller things each month as I would need to spread the costs over the pregnancy.

I'm the same as you! I've started spending money on antique clarice cliff and other such fripperies. Have been planning for non existent maternity leave for 2 and half years so the spare cash is going on making me feel a bit more human!

OMG I am so glad I am not the only one squirreling away her pennies for maternity leave!! When we first started ttc I worked out how much money I would be short and then how much I'd need to save each month to make it up. Needless to say 10 months on, I have a nice little pot of savings!!

Have not bought anything baby, won't even buy myself a pg book (have got ttc ones though!!). Bit superstitious like that. When I do get :bfp:, you just watch me spend though!!!

We didnt' buy anything, well I think I bought a bib that said I love my Daddy-as I thought I was once, enough to buy it.

When we found otu we were we did go on a shopping spree.

Though I am so ready to get things OUT of the house if we are done, because in the same way it hurts to see it all sitting here.

you look so pretty on your wedding pic :hugs:

We have a drawer full of clothes, and some things I made myself (cushions for the nursery, a bag for nappies, wipes etc, decorations, teddies)

My mum sent the clothes when we told her we were TTC and she wouldnt stop. Finally after the 12 month mark she realised it was probably inappropriate. She also bought a moses basket:shock: We put it in storage

Im not one to believe in any of this "jinxing" stuff...I just only want to keep what I can cope with seeing, like the clothes which can be hidden in a drawer-they actually help motivate me sometimes. I take a pair of bootees to docs appointments (in my bag of course...dont want ayone to think Im a madwoman!)

Nothing, I will look at the stuff in the store all the time..but I wont buy it..I don't wanna jynx myself..or make myself more anxious
