how much breastmilk?

Just wondering how much breastmilk people who express feed in a day.

I know if I was fully formula feeding he would be on around 35oz/40oz a day. But they dont need as much breastmilk do they?

I can currently express 26oz give or take an oz or two each day and I am wondering how much I am appx needing to increase by to exclusively feed him breastmilk either by bottle or straight from the breast.

So whats the average daily intake of breastmilk for your baby?

Only people who exclusively express could truly answer this, but I work, am gone nine hours a day and my LO drinks 10-12 expressed milk in that time. The rest of the time I nurse directly, so I don't know how much. I do know its nowhere near what a formula
Baby would drink, as breast milk is more concentrated nutrition.

I believe the number I've mostly heard is 1-1.5 ounces a hour. So 24-36 ounces over 24 hours. Well done btw on getting your supply up! Is he latching on much for you?
