How much did you gain between 32 weeks and the end?

I'm currently 40 weeks to the day, or 41 + 3 if you go by my LMP date, and have gained either 6 or 12 pounds from week 32, depending on which due date is correct. :)
 
I gained 24lbs to now. My weight has fluctuated up and down a lot in the past couple of weeks depending on fluid retention. I've gained about 4-6lbs (depending on the day!) in the 3rd trimester. My OB told me most of the weight I gain from here will likely be water weight.

you and me are about the same.. i'm a week before you but 9 kg now.. i only wanted to put on 9 to start with but i think if you don't go over 11kg, you should be fine.

the recommended is 15.. for normal size people obviously, so i don't think you'd have any problem losing that amount of weight!

It's recommended I gain 30-40 lbs. I've only managed 23, despite eating all the time and extra calorie foods too.
From 25-term, I tend to gain 1.5lbs one week, then lose a lb the next. This week I'm down 1 lb. It's crazy! Up until 24/25 weeks I was gaining nice and steady. I'm really hoping to gain 10 lbs in the next 8 weeks.

I was very underweight prior to pregnancy so I've heard the smaller you are, the more you should gain. But I definitely don't want to go over 13-15kg. I've always had body issues. It sounds horrible but I can't wait to have my body back :(
 
8 pounds, I gained only 12 before then so a total of 20. It was all baby though, they gain half a pound a week the last 2 months. Don't worry. I was 125, got to 145 and now down to 108 :)
 
I gained 3 pounds between 32-36 weeks, and I've stayed exactly the same since then.

I might want to add that I started off this pregnancy losing almost 20 pounds from not being able to eat a damn thing, so "technically" I've only gained 6 pounds :wacko:
 
Whooo, I'm really hopeful now. =) I'm trying to keep my weight gain under 40lbs... its at 33 now though. The pounds just piled on between 20-28 weeks but its slowed down since then and I'm hoping it stays down now... I never planned to gain so much. I have weight issues too and its been freaking me out sometimes, but I'm trying not to dwell.

My doctor said she wanted me to gain at least 35lbs because I hadn't been eating well (she had me bringing in a weekly food record every so often because I'd been having chronic fatigue problems). I wasn't underweight at all though! I was up to 118 at 5'5 which is quite healthy. But she said to be eating the proper amount of calories, I would have to end up gaining weight. As soon as I started eating the recommended amount of calories for a pregnant women of my height/activity level (sedentary now hehe), the weight just started going up and up.

I guess it makes sense. I've set a goal to get in shape by next Halloween, so that gives a long 9 months! I figure that's healthy, lol.

Anyway, rant over. But sometimes its normal to gain more than the recommended. =) Though I kinda took it too far. xD
 
I had gained 14 lbs up until week 32, have just weighed myself today at week 40 + 2 days and have gained a total of 16 lbs, so 2 lbs within the last 8 weeks. :happydance:
