I just had my 20 week U/S . she said measurements were all perfect for 20 weeks on the dot. but baby weighs 13 oz already
the internet says the average weight at 20 weeks is 10.5 oz .. so i'm just wondering what every body elses baby weighed at their 20 week ultrasound

I don't think my scan report gives a weight but they say baby is around 1lb at 20 weeks x

No idea! Mine's never been weighed and won't be, until he's born, as far as I know!

My scan was on 20 weeks exact & she weighed approx 325g :cloud9:

I dont know what that is in ounces?

But please dont worry, you would have been told if there was a problem....Our LO's have plenty of time to change weights :winkwink:

Just went on a conversion site:

325 g = 11.4640 oz

i had my scan at 22wks and they estimated my baby at 1lb 1oz

At my 20 week scan my lil fella weighed just short of a lb and at 22 weeks he was 1lb 5oz x

Im having a little girl and at my 20 week scan last week she weighed 362g which is 12 ounces. xxxx

i had my 20 week scan today and i wasnt told how much he weighs :(

Hi

there is no way of them actually weighing your baby in there so they use various body measurements as well as the average of that gestation and figure it out from there. At term this can be as much as 2lbs out either way so I'd take it with a pinch of salt and not worry.

Cant find my notes atm but at 20 weeks it was something like 470g i think then at 22 week she weighed 1lb3
xx

had my scan yesterday at 21 + 5 and sonographer said baby girl weighs 1 lbs.

i don't really give anything about that. how many times were women told their babies are big and will weigh 9-10 lbs according to the estimates from the sonogram and then they come out and weigh 7 lbs.!? happens all the time!

i give more about the measurements as they take the size of the head etc and all of these were absolute on the dot with 21+5 and one thing measured 21+6, so i really don't mind what she weighs :)

As a couple of others have said all these weights are estimates and are likely to be "out" if they were actually able to weigh the baby.

As long as the measurements, HB and anomaly scans are all well within range then there is no need to worry.

Get to find out mine on Tuesday :) Soooo excited
