how much do you have left over?

We have just sat down and worked out all our finances for when my mat pay ends in March, after Mortgage, all bills and food are taken care of we willl have £590 a month left over which has to cover holidays, birthdays, clothes haircuts etc... I am worried how we are going to cope if anything major crops up although we do, have about £3K saved up in an ISA so if the worst came to the worst we could break into that.

i worked mine out earlier - we have about 1450 left over while i am on mat thats after all bills except food
