Well even at 32 weeks I still don't know whether to BF or FF so just doing some research and weighing up pros and cons, but I don't think I'll know until she is here and we've had a go.

Anyway I am in the Uk and was wondering how much ladies spend on formula? I appreciate it will vary as some babies may drink more or have a more premium brand but I would love to hear from you all and get your views :)

I use SMA and get through a tin a week which is about £9 a week. Wish I could have breastfed it's free!

We use aptamil first milk which costs £9.50 so we spend almost £10 a week on a tin of formula.

Cow and Gate which is £7.99 a tin in Tesco (just got back from there hence knowing the figure exactly!) - went through from about a tin every week and a half as a teeny, to just over a tin a week as a guzzling too early to wean bottomless milk pit of nom nom nom.

Plus I used to use the ready to drink cartons when out and about (was just easiest for us) - they're something like 61p a go so factor in 2-3 of them a week for when we were at baby groups or whatever.

We use Aptamil (1) milk, i but it from 'Savers' as its cheaper around £8 :)

Another aptamil user here, so £10 a week.
x

Wish i could breasted but didnt get milk. We have to give her special hypoallergenic formula. Similac and she will only drink liquid so its $10 a bottle and she needs about 5 a week right now do $50. But w it ill only increase.

I don't live in the UK but here in Canada I spend about $160 a month on formula using Enfamil A+ powder formula. It'd cost $10 cheaper for me to use liquid concentrate formula (same brand) but I prefer the convience of powder to liquid and don't mind spending the extra $10.

£96 per month... yeah lol

Although he has hit his max intake now so will probably get a bit cheaper as he moves onto solids.

Wish I could have breastfed- not for the money factor, it made his reflux 10x worse and impossible to thicken breast milk lol x

it depends on brands etc but you should budget about £30 for the first month ish as they only have small amounts, £40 a month for 2-6 months and down to £30 again once they are weaned as they will drink less x

In the us here and we spend about $80 a month max. A 33 oz can lasts us about a week and 2 or 3 days. I like ff it keeps my boy fuller longer and I know how much he's getting.

64$ a month roughly. But she's only 3 weeks old. It will be about 155$ monthy I imagine when she gets maxed out. She is on similac for reflux. I hate FF. it stinks , I have to sterilize everything at every single feed at the moment (she has thrush) it's extremely time consuming and a pain in my butt. I wish she wouldn't scream at my breast like its hurting her. I would love to breastfeed but its nog looking well for us
