How much does your 4.5montg old eat?

My LO eats 5-6oz every 2.5-3hrs during the day and sleeps from 7pm til 5/6am. He's FF

But people keep going on at me that he should be eating more less often now and some people have mentioned hungry baby milk etc etc.

I don't want to change his milk as he's quite happy except for not going long between feeds!!
How much and how often does your 4.5month old eat and how long in between?

Even if I offer more he won't take it so not sure what i'm meant to do?

My LO has 4-5oz every 3-4 hours and she sleeps about 10 hours in the night. If he's gaining weight normally then I don't think there is a need to change anything.

Wow mine a beast.. he eats 8oz of hungry baby milk evrry 2.5-3 hrs. He was sleeping through until about 3weeks ago when he started waking for a feed.

So he has a total of 6-7 feeds in 24hrs.

i really wudnt worry if he seems content why change anything. we only moved on to hungry baby as 8oz of normal milk wasnt fillin him up.

if u he sleeping at night then they stilk need to eat every 3or so hrs other wise u simply dnt have the time to fit all his feeds in.

LO has 5x 6oz bottles in 24 hours.
i discussed with her GP my concern over her dropping a bottle but not upping her feeds, and she said it's fine cos LO still growing well. she often doesn't finish the 6oz too.

her feeds are around 2.5-3hrs apart, except she'll sometimes have her bottle at 4am but still doesn't take her first day bottle til 10am.

Wow!!!! Lucky!! My boy loves 6am too much haha! Not complaining though, at least he sleeps through xx

My LO has 4 x 9oz bottles and sleeps from half 7 till 9:30/10am. She's 17lb 7. Dont think shes going to last till 6 months on only milk, her bottles are full to the top just now and shes started looking for more and its hungry baby milk shes on!

My LO is 4 months and has 7oz 5 times a day but she is becoming unsatisfied on that. Don't know whether to up the oz per feed to 8 or to perhaps do every 2 hours? Why do we never know what to do!?

As for the original poster - if it aint broke, don't fix it! He'd soon be telling you if the amount wasn't enough. Sounds like he's satisfied

Funnily enough he's been taking some 7oz bottles the last couple of days so seems he's getting a bigger apetite!!!

What we done is when he started draining 6oz bottles we added another oz - sometimes he drinks it, sometimes he doesn't xxx

My LO eats 4 6ozs bottles & is satisfied. She sleeps through the night.
