How much fenugreek

Hi all

I have some fenugreek, they are 610mg capsules, the bottle says take 1-2, three times per day, do not exceed stated dose.

I've seen most people on here recommend 3x3 per day? What strength and how many do you take?

MW suggested 2 3 times a day to me. I seriously dont think it has helped but who knows!

From what I have heard if you overdo it; you will end up with a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance which can lead to an unsettled baby (I had the same problem with fennel); but different women need different amounts and its trial and error to find the right doseage for you.

I have the 610mg ones and I was told by the bf'ing nurses to take 3 pills, 3 times a day..and was told if you don't get the maple syrup type smell in your skin/urine that you aren't taking enough.

My supply dropped even more when I got my period so I was taking 4 pills, 3 times a day.

I started with 2 3x's a day and it didn't do anything. I upped it to 3 3x's a day and I saw a slight increase.
