how much formula is too much?

leyla is on 35oz at the min, 5 x 7oz feeds, but its starting to not be enough for her, well i say starting, its not been enough for a few weeks, i was going to start weaning her but paul wont let me, he says shes not old enough yet...how much milk are babies allowed in a day? i have tried a few days of giving her 9/10oz bottles at every feed and i have moved her onto hungry baby milk but there never seems to be enough milk for her, how much is too much?

I think anything over 8oz counts as not too much,but a lot ..
Also she is 6 months in 2 weeks,if she is hungry why wait? I'm assuming Paul is her father,is he her main carer? If not,then you as a mother should be making that decision.
I mean,you could always try and see if she's ready if not,then wait another couple of weeks and try again.

i know!! but he is a male, therefore knows best! anyway, he has since decided that since baby rice has no gluten in it that i was allowed to wean her lol so she had her first bit of baby rice this afternoon!

glad he agrreed!! i think they're thinking of lowering the age back down to 4 months anyway hun!! katie used to drink 5x8oz bottles at least and have 3 meals! i dont think they can really have too much milk. but there is some kind of rule of thumb kinda thing to go by, so many oz for so many lbs sort of thing. cant remmeber wha tit is mind!
