How much

Just wondering really how much contact if any do you have with FOB?
I wish i could just not speak to him at all
He texts me like a few times a day and randomly rings me, i ask why and he says hes just seeing how kam is.
Hes away alot so do you think this is acceptable?
I obviously understand he wants to know how he is but, so much?

Hiya i know how you feel, some days i'd rather not speak to fob but we are usually pretty good friends and he texts a few times a day asking about our lo, and just general chat, sounds like your ex wants to be friends with you for the sake of your lo which is always good x

imo i think thats too much. i would say 1-2 texts a day to ask about lo is plenty.

i have no contact at all with my ex. just how i like it.

I'm in the same boat, except he is constantly at my house and texting/calling when he's not. Sometimes I want to just ignore him and tell him to stay away, but I have to remind myself that it is for our son, and it is him trying to be nice. As long as he keeps it to your child, I don't think it can be too much.

My ex and I call each other if we need to (maybe once in 2 weeks?) and text a couple of times a week. We see each other when Amelia goes to his for the day/night and we catch up then. We do the odd thing together for Amelia, like we went for sunday lunch and to buy her birthday prezzies together.

Thats quite alot! but hey atleast he's intrested in how your LO is! Last time i heard from FOB was just before my first CSA payment a few weeks ago. I told him liam was really ill and had high temp he just said bless, how much did you get! Reminded me why im glad me and liam dont have to see him again!

Thankyou! I know it sound selfish but it just upsets me because i want to move on from him, i still care alot about him and weare friends but i dont want the constant contact like we had when we where together iykwim?
Hes only text like twice today and ive just text back a message that couldnt start a convo xx

My LO is still in the womb obviously, but I would prefer extremely limited contact, but I know that I can't do that. Right now I only email him to tell him about my dr appointments, but he's coming here in a couple of weeks for my gender scan He just assumes its perfectly fine to stay at my place instead of getting a hotel. I didn't fight him on it this time, but I'll be making it very clear that in the future it will NOT be ok!!

If I leave communication wide open, he thinks its ok to email/call 20 hours out of the 24 a day!!

FOB texts me once in the morning and once at night to see how Lily is, if shes ment to be going to his that day then usually hell text double checking arrangements

Well FOB never has seen mason and he has basically said he isnt interested either he doesnt want him in his life .. iv said a million times id do anything for him to see him etc but his choice its good in a way because this way him not seeing me aswell as mason and contacting me all the time lets me get over him xx
