How often/long for does your 9/10 month old nap?

Millicent is almost 10 months, she sleeps through 7-7. She has a morning nap at 9am for 2 hours approx then an afternoon nap between 1 and 2 for another 2 hours approx.

I thought this was fine as it's not like i force her to sleep, i put her in her cot when shes rubbing her eyes like crazy and whinging.

My friend said yesterday 'f*cking hell she sleeps alot' her 13 month old only has a 2 hr nap a day.

Millicent been crawling for 2 months, pulls herself to stand and cruises, so shes constantly on the go.

Just thought i'd ask as now im paranoid she is sleeping too much

That is a long time compared to my lo BUT my lo has never been a big day time sleeper

She's 10 months and has about 40mins (an hr at a big push maybe once a week) at about 9.30am then about 30-40mins after lunch (anytime between 12.30 and 13.30)

She also goes 7-7 at night

Edited go add, a lot of friends lo's will sleep for an hr and a half - two hrs. So I don't think it's Anything to worry about.

At 11months my Lil' is still having a nap at around 9am for approx 90 minutes and about an hour in the afternoon at about 1.30pm. She has been doing this since about 7mths.

I think it is fine! And it gives mummy a chance to do the dishes and prepare her dinner!

They are growing so much and as growth only happens whilst they are asleep i think it is fine

LO has 1 hour 15-30 twice a day. Usually sleeps 6.30/7 - 6.30/7, 10-11.15 and 3-4

Sleep is good!! If it works don't change it! xxx

brodie is the same if hes at home.
when he is at nursery he naps for 40min cause there is too much going on

Thanks ladies. I don't know what it got me so worried/paranoid, as i thought to myself how good it was she was napping so well..huh
