Did you BD during the month you conceived? I've been hearing many MANY different opinions from every day to once a week. I'm confused now on how much I should, any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!!

i know your probably not looking for my answer since i havnt conceived yet but i'm only BD'ing 2 or 3 times in my fertile period... so 2 days before my suspected OV, and i'm super hopeful! Hope i helped a little little bit

Yes you did! I'm guessing it just depends on your body, I have been told to BD when I want to and the majority of women end up with BFP's when they aren't necessarily "trying", my doctor was like have sex because you want to not because you feel like you have to. Good enough reasoning for me I guess!

thats definately my approach, and i only see OH once in a while but maybe thats a good thing! im just hoping i'm really lucky and get my bfp my first cycle

Around ovulation, only once, because OH had a crazy week and he was really stressed.


But I heard it was okay to bd every day when you're in your fertile stage, because apparently it encourages the sperm to be more easily produced, and the newer sperm are of better quality. And let's face it; if you want to make a baby; quality is goooooood

I agree with lara, if you take a look at my FF chart, we did it every day and caught the egg. (expecially at nite then went straight to sleep) Worked for us. Good luck!

if you can do it every night then yes go for it if you can't then just try to BD in your fertile period

I keep reading more and more that if you do everyday is fine too (as long as his sperm count is normal). So we decided to start today - CD13 - everyday til CD19 or 20

Thanks for your opinions!! I guess we're just going to keep BD'ing as often as we feel, with the exception of my fertile week, then it will be every day most likely

DH and I have conceived 4 times this year, twice last year. He's "production" was very low and at first we could only BD every second or third day but now we normally try to BD everyday from CD 8 or 10 until way past CD 20 +. We always aim until AF comes but I normally conceive every second cycle of trying.

My fertility specialist recommends every second day then everyday in your fertility window unless the couple has a male factor infertility issue. Like my FS says "sex will get you pregnant" and it sure does work for us lol! Now we just have to work on stickability!
