How old is your 30-lb (2.14-stone) child?

Hi there,

As a first-time mommy I'm buying lots of baby gear items with weight limits and so many have a limit of 25-30 pounds (30-pounds = about 2.14 stone).

So, I'm wondering what is the age and height of your 30-lb / 2.14-stone child?

I have a feeling this information will vary greatly. Many online say their toddlers are that weight, but some say that's the weight of their babies at less than a year old. So, I'm just wondering what the tally is and how old a baby of that weight should be.

My almost 3 year oldis 28lbs. I would buy clothing on height

My son is 4, and weighs 31 lbs. He was 28 lbs at 3. I would go by height as well. My son is short for his age, and is in 3T clothes.

my 14 month old is just under 22 pounds (and very tall) It depends on the baby, my friends 4.5 year old weighs 31 pounds and her 2.5 year old weighs 32 (So even though her youngest is 2 years younger, she weighs a pound more)

Oh goodness! I'll need to do some research (shame on me for not remembering!) but both of mine were bigger than that before a year old and taller. My 18 month old is 38 inches tall and 34 pounds. He wears a size 3t/4t and 9.5 in shoes. My 2.5 year old is 41 inches tall and 40 pounds. She wears a size 5/6 and is wearing size 11/12 in shoes.

Almost 4 hehe. She is has always been long and lean. She is almost out of 5T pants for the length! She grows out of ,most things height wise way before weight.

My 4year3month old is just under 32lbs. My 3 year old is about 36lbs now.
