With my daughter I was super organised I think we had everything in Place by 24 weeks. This time however I'm not as organised, we've only got the steriliser and bottles and a few outfits, baby's room is no where near ready either, I know I'm only in week 18 but it's nice to be organised I guess :winkwink:

So how organised are you ladies? :flower:

We have everything we need for baby but her room is no where near done. It needs plastering and decorating, new floor or carpet etc. so in Kane way fairly organised but in others not so much lol.

Hi mummy!
We're quite organised this time around :) we've got the pram, car seat, moses basket, cot bed, breast pump already and just ordered new mattress, moses/pram sheets, replacement car seat cover and baby monitors too. We swapped bedrooms with katie last week too so that she's in the big room ready to share with baby so we've redecorated that room and cleaned the carpet etc. All that's left for us to do is pick up a few odd bits and buy clothing then ohs mum is buying the reusable nappies after we find out the sex :) xx

I am totally not organised! As we having another boy we have most things already but need to find it all and do nursery etc! Hmmmm think I better start I'm 26 weeks, it's going so fast!

Wow, I definitly feel unorganised now :haha: I think maybe this weekend we will head out and get the Moses basket, I want a changing table this time too, has anyone else got one of these?

Wow! I'm completely disorganized then. I'm just going to move DS's baby furniture to the new room in a couple of weeks when his new drawers and night table arrives from Ikea. I've hung up some sleep suits for the baby in his closet when I realized that DS was a spring baby, so I'll need new clothes, that's as far as my organization went. My MIL bought the baby some new clothes and made a blanket, so she's kind of more organized than me.

I am barely organized. We have a few clothes left over from DS that are gender neutral, since we won't find out for another 3 weeks. We have some diapers, wipes, swaddling blankets, breast pump and storage, boppies, sheets, all the little hygiene things, and still have DS's travel system that we can use if we have another boy(It might work for a girl too. It's fairly neutral). And we only have all that stuff because we had it from DS. We have to find a new bassinet, as the one we used with DS was recalled shortly after DS was born(and I never knew it until recently! I'm so glad nothing happened.) DS's bouncer was already second hand and will be replaced as soon as we find out what LO is. DS will move to his first bed sometime before baby moves to crib and baby will get his crib.
We won't be doing much to the nursery, as both kids will be sharing once baby moves to a crib, so it will just be a pale pastel yellow. Then they can have wall stickers with their own characters. I wish they had separate rooms so I could decorate like I did with DS's old room in our last house(I created a cartoon giraffe that was painted on the wall, and puffy clouds all over blue walls.)

I love the sound of the puffy clouds, my OH wanted to do a sky kind of look in our little boys nursery, he wanted to do the star effect on the ceiling too!

I'm not organized in the slightest lol I've bought very few things for the baby because we have to save up to move to a new house when I'm around 35 weeks or so. Definitely not an ideal situation.

This is my first baby and I've really underestimated how much stuff one actually needs lol

We are completey unorganised! I have just started redecorating my little girls room for her to move into before we even start on the nursery! No rush tho my babies seem to always come late!

We already have bouncer too :)
We've just been online and bought a changing bag, changing mat and baby bath too :) I love baby shopping!

Ugh! I'm not! Its baby #3 but it's been so long that we have nothing left! Plan in bf so not worrying about bottles for awhile, clothing depends on gender which will not be confirmed until week 22 (5.5 more weeks!) I realized that all the "stuff" I had with Ds1&even Ds2 was never really used and most that was used was not until they were 2-3 months old. For the first 2 months all I really NEEDED was a crib, blankets, diapers, basic clothing, & wipes.

I have one outfit! That is all. Have started researching only. Picking paint colours, furniture, stroller and car seat, and cradle. Feeling overwhelmed.

I'm usually organized but this time I feel like everything is dragging lol. I'm still tryna get my place together lol. We have alot of second hand stuff coming to us thankfully. But were jus waiting to find out what were having before we get other stuff.

I have breast pump, bottles, 1 pack size 1 nappies, bouncy chair and play mat (from ds2), deposit paid on my pram and have till December to pay it all off.

so all i need is burp cloths, clothes, cot and mattress, nappies, wipes, bum creams, towels, changing bag and a change mat. Im not going overboard this time round.. not bothering with a bath ill use basin or the big bath like i did ds2, changing table.. i had one with ds2 (the ones with bath and mat) but hardly used it lol. dont need monitors as baby will be in with us. may get a dummy or two just incase. Such a tiny list compared to what i got for ds1 and ds2 BUT this time i know what i actually need :haha: and not just what i think i need.

Haven't bought a thing - never do before 25 weeks.

We're off on holiday on Sat so I'll start preparing when we get back - I'll just be in the third tri then.

Obviously we have some stuff as this is number 2 - but I am definitely a lot more relaxed and intend to buy a lot less - just vests and sleep suits for the first 3 months - can't believe I'll need to pack a hospital bag in 12 weeks...

Thanks to online shopping - I'll do most the clothes shopping once I know the colour of bump!

Bit more worried about DD birthday in 2 weeks - not got a thing for that - eek!!

xx

With my daughter I had definitely bought stuff by now but this time round I have NOTHING!

That said - I still have it all from my DD so unless we find out at 20 week scan that its a boy we don't need much.

Oh wow.
DH wants us to start buying and doing everything a month a head of time. I told him the end of September is the deadline. No way am I waiting that long (what's with guys?)
I think if it was up to me I'd have almost everything, but not set up the room yet. I hate waiting until the last minute.

However, if all goes well with next weeks scan we'll be getting a pram. Maybe that will get the snowball rolling!

Sounds like I'm not the only one then, phew! :)

I love so many prams I just can't decide on which one to get, with my daughter I had a travel system but I think I'm going to avoid one of those this time as we never really used the carry cot, only a handful of times maybe. I love the brightly coloured prams they really catch my eye!

Since HG has me off my feet for the most part, I am much more organized this time than last. Already have about half of what we need. Just waiting for my harony gender results to get the rest.
