How rude!!!

Do you know what, I never go out....
Yesterday in college I actually said that I couldn't wait to go home, get a bath. my pjs and dressing gown on, nice cup of tea and some biscuits and watch soaps :haha: quite a few people looked at me disgusted and said "oh god I couldn't do that, i'm off out to the pub/town tonight" and its pretty much like that every week too, most of the girls on a friday are talking about their planned nights out...I couldn't hack going out every weekend :haha: even before having kids I wouldn't go out every weekend!!

Saying that though, i've been with Rob for 5 years now, so most of my teens I was settled down and we spent night outs at the cinema/going out for a meal/watching a film in bed lol!!

I know what you mean! I've been out drinkin maybe 6? times since having Summer. And I've only been drunk maybe twice. I just can't hack it anymore. I had 3 alcopops last time before I just didn't want anymore. Last night, Summer was at MIL's and I spent the night on the couch with OH, watching the television and eating Fajitas. That to me, is bliss :) xx

Oh how vile :grr: i HATE it when people say things like that! xxx

ignore it hun, some people just love to throw out sad comments to make themselves look superior :nope: but she also has a point, on my oh's facebook there's a few young mums on there that put such awful statuses calling their kids every name under the sun and complaining about everything and he gets sick of seeing it because they make it out like these kids are the worst thing to have happened to them, I don't understand how anyone can talk so badly about their own, lo is not born yet but I'm already protective of him :nope:

theres a young mum on my facebook who did the same thing, i got so fed up of it i deleted her off it, always moaning about waking up early.. nd slagging her daughter off online. Really made me mad.

Let's face it. A lady who has never been in the predicament of pregnancy that is unplanned has no idea what it feels like or what they will feel like. It's easy to say "yeah I'll just get an abortion if that happens" or "yeah I'll just give it up for adoption".. hypothetical situations are quite different than the real deal. Speaking out of ignorance is never helpful to anyone, including themselves. I've never heard of anyone complaining about how their life was over, but we should be thankful to be alive at all and have those around us including our children who love us. We are lucky to have our children and them us and to be here in this world with us. Some women decide to terminate their pregnancies because they feel they had no options and of course we all know of the difficult circumstances we were faced with. This one woman regretted it so much because she was never able to have children after that. As women we have to support eachother and uplift eachother regardless of varying ways our life has turned out or the choices we have made. Nobody is perfect or is always going to make the "perfect" or best choices for ourselves.

Blah she's clueless. Tell her to get pregnant and see if she can really give her baby up for adoption. She makes it sound like giving a baby away is the easiest thing to do! Good for you though!

Edit: Btw, it's so easy for someone to say what she said, because she has no idea what it's like to go through an unexpected pregnancy and then decide to keep your baby, and how hard it is to actually be a young parent. :flower:

That would have been my answer to the whole thing. Ask her down the line when/if she has bio kids.:growlmad:
