They count 40 weeks from the first day of your last period do technically if you fell pregnant this cycle and your cycle is 28 days you would be classed as 4 weeks pregnant on the day your next AF is due x
Yeah, it's dumb how confusing this whole thing is. If you've just ovulated then you're 2 weeks pregnant / start of week 2. 14 DPO is 4 weeks pregnant / week 4. Etc.
They typically start counting from the start of your LMP. That only works accurately if you have a regular 28 day cycle and ovulate on CD14. When tracking ovulation, they will count week 1 starting at 2 weeks before ovulation. By the time you ovulate you would technically be 2 weeks pregnant if you conceive that cycle. It's so weird.
