How to get him to suck longer?

My baby is 3 weeks old and has a terrible time with continuously sucking. He sucks 5-10 mins per breast and falls asleep. It is not very efficient sucking with a lot of stop and go. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions to get him sucking better? I really want him to bf some, but as it stands I am almost exclusively feeding him formula and I am very discouraged.

I would phone your hv and ask for some help or do you have a bf cafe near you xx good luck just keep trying x
