Hey ladies,

I'm 4w tomorrow and I am struggling with how to cope with the anxiety of everyday. Every tweak or twinge I'm panicking. I have back ache so I've convinced myself that that's the start of miscarriage.

I've got through the first hurdle of my second pregnancy test being darker than the one two days previous but already I'm worried about the test I'll take in 2 days.

How does anyone get through this? How does anyone get to 12 weeks? It just seems so impossible.

I'm terrified every second. I can't be happy or embrace this because I'm sure it won't last. I can't imagine I'd ever be so lucky.

Anyone feeling the same thing?

Hi Lou Oscar. Congratulations on your bfp!

I haven't got any advice - I tested every day until around six weeks. I still have paranoid moments where I feel like it's all going to go round and I'm going to gush blood at any moment. That's what having a miscarriage has done to me.

I'd just try and take each day as it comes and enjoy being pregnant if you can. We have no control over how it's going to turn out - however I have heard that it you get pregnant within six months of a miscarriage it's more likely to be successful?

Hope everything is OK for you x

Hi ladies I just wanted to say that I have been where you are and pregnancy after a loss or losses can be so stressful. I had 2 losses before having my rainbow and I was so nervous and anxious throughout the pregnancy, especially during the first trimester. However someone told me this and it helped me each time I panicked. Be grateful for today. Because today you are pregnant and celebrate the little life you have inside. Just take each day as it comes. The anxiety never goes away completely but as your pregnancy progresses it will get easier. I hope you both get your rainbows and they will be worth all of the pain, heartache and worry.

I'm in the exact same boat. Every time my symptoms subside I get nervous.

It's so weird to WANT to feel miserable. When my boobs hurt, or my abdomen aches, I smile a little and feel reassured. It defies all logic!! UGH!

We miscarried around this time last pregnancy (5 - 6 weeks), so I'm over-analyzing everything, taking the lightest steps and just HOPING for symptoms.
