Ugh. I wish pregnancy was more cut and dry and predictable.

I've been so sore and achy all through my pelvic/vaginal area. It's not painful, I just get worried. And every time I call my doctor's office they just say its normal and to take a Tylenol. I know if I have actual cramping I should call or go in, but I guess these little aches are normal? I'm 19 weeks and I'm just guessing its normal growing pains? I'm really just looking for reassurance. Please help me settle down. :) What are your growing pains like? How do you deal with them? I've been staying hydrated and resting a lot.

I am just like you. I worry about every ache and pain as well. I am an anxious person. I have called my OB office a lot. They are probably tired of me. I have been having a lot of pelvic aches and pains and just plan uncomfortable feelings the last few weeks. Always scares me. The doc always says it's normal. I always worry tho. We did have an ultrasound today and saw that I am carrying really low so I don't know if that's why or not. Sometimes it feels achy. Sometimes just heavy. Sometimes like its being stretching. I get pain in my hips too. I am about 25 weeks.

Thanks so much for your reply! All those things you describe are EXACTLY what I've been feeling! Glad it's what is to be expected. :) Still stressing though

Hi there, I've been having lots of aching and cramping for the past couple wks, my Dr isn't concerned, it's just everything stretching. Baby is lying low for me too and I think that's why, it's just alot of pressure and cramping down low, worse after I've been sitting at my desk at work all day

I've been having a lot of aches too.... and I always worry. I just figure they are growing pains or stretching pains so I've never contacted my Dr. since they are always very mild. Still makes me worry though LOL

I had that exact same pain/ache as well, I am 22 + 4 and pain varies every day. It is just the pressure on your uterus. At night I sleep with a pillow between my legs and it helps ease it. All good signs tho, just everything streching and moving out for the baby.

I agree with starangel, im 22+1 and my pain/ ache is different everyday, some days it like a dull ache in my left side and other its like daggers down below but I read and been told a lot to expect this because it's the belly stretching and making room plus i'm carrying low so think that why we get more pain down there

Hope it the pain/ache lightens up soon :)

Thanks ladies! Feeling a lot better knowing it's common. Some of the aches have started to subside, too. :)

One thing I learned through my first pregnancy that I have carried on into this one is: pregnancy is simply chocked full of cramps, aches, pains and twinges.
For me, unless something has me doubled over in pain, is accompanied with bleeding, or truly has my gut feelings twitching...I write it all off as normal!
