How to label pacifiers?

LO is going to be in the church nursery tomorrow so I have to label everything, but I'm not sure how to go about labeling her paci. It seems most people write their initials with a sharpie, but I'd rather not do this because LO chews on her paci hard enough to take the color off of it, and I don't want her eating marker ink. Any other ideas?

Can you tie a ribbon round the handle? Or write her name on the clip that attaches to clothes (if you use one of those)
