We never used cot bumpers (is now too late?) and Lucas cot bed consists of fitted sheet, cellular blanket tucked on the sides and 2-3 soft toys..that's it...
He does not like to spend time there and when turns and tosses during the night hits the sides, wakes himself up and cry.
Also I think he might be getting cold there...anyway at around 2am he ends up in our bed.
It might not be the reason, but I want to make his bed more cosy and appealing without adding some hazzarts..

Can you, please, show me our cots or tell what you have there
Pillows and blankets from18 month?!

We have the clevamamma pillow and airwrap bumpers, both are breathable (tho pillows are friended upon!), we never actually tuck her cellular blanket in, she wraps herself up in it (17mo) and again it's breathable so I don't worry (much!) the best way to keep them warm and snug is sleeping bags! I'm hoping she'll accept them again this winter! They really do keep them snug!

Thank you for the reply, i'll look up that pillow
We did not use sleeping bags when he was little mainly due to he brought up quite a lot of milk after night feeds, i was bf and could not cover him properly, so the bag got wet..now the problem is when he wakes up, he stands..immediatelly..so having a bag he might fall?

Tbh my LO never seemed comfy or slept well in a cot. (Again, bashing the sides and waking himself up) I started using the travel cot with bouncy soft sides at 8 months, he slept loads better and he is still in it. Also I use a Safetsleep wrap and really soft mattress, I know firm is reccomended but hey thats what I do..
