my son really loves soup but i really want to make my own with little or no salt he likes things like vegetable, leek and potato, lentil soup does anyone know how or have a recipe for any of those?

I use a baby veggie stock cube and throw in what ever veggies he like e.g potatoes and leeks and wizz it up x

thanks where can you get baby stock cubes from iv never seen them

They definately do them in Boots. There's a Boots Organic range.

They look like this; https://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/st...tCatEntryType=2&searchTerm=baby+stock&x=0&y=0

I used to make lentil dhal with orange juice...

50ml orange juice
110g red lentils
300mls of water

And if you want add a pinch of cinnomon...i used to.

Just put the lentils and water in a pan and cook until the lentils are soft. Drain off a little fluid. Then stir in the orange juice and cinnomon and put it on the heat...and there you have it...

Sorry if its not clear...its how iv written it in my recipe book...just cant remember where i got it from!

I know its not a soup but its nutritious and simple! xx
