I'm 29 weeks w triplets and have gad BH as close as 4 min apart exactly. I went in to l&d and wasn't in labor, so now that's a new baseline.

Was wondering how ppl w BH knew they were in labor? My Dr says contractions will become painful, but I've even had those w a migraine so now gave no clue.

Check out the Premature/NICU forum on this site. There's a whole sticky thread on premature labor symptoms. :) Good luck!

Thanks, but none of the signs for a single baby apply to me, as they are watching for 6 or more contractions an hr and such, when I normally have about 10-12 and am not in labor. I also have back pain and all the other stuff simply bc my uterus is so big and I've gained so much weight. I was wondering about ppl like me w multiples.

Pretty much I have every symptom of early labor without being in labor. So, I'm wondering, has anyone else been in this position? What did you figure was eventually labor?

I'm laying here timing my contractions and wondering the same thing. Some nights I have more than 6 an hour. Earlier tonight I had a glob of mucous that has me worried too.
I've read that the contractions will develop a pattern, be consistantly the same distance apart, get stronger with each one, and not go away after a couple hours, a bath, a change in position etc.
still I feel like im on alert all the time!

I've not had a glob yet, but I have had discharge that soaks my underwear. It was nothing. My BH do not go away with relaxing or changing position, either, but that's also not labor. I'm at a loss.

I also have all the signs of pre-eclampsia without high blood pressure or protein, like headache and sudden swelling and weight gain, severe joint aches, etc. Who the heck knows?!

With my twins, I lived with bh contractions. Tons a day. Mine would be 2-3 mins apart for over an hour but not in labor. As I was going into labor I started feeling really off. Its hard to explain it but I just knew something was happening. My water eventually broke and contractions started immediately after.

My experience was like GreenEyes'--I felt off, like maybe I was coming down with something, the day I went into labor. Everything else seemed pretty normal!

I've had terrible stomach pain since last night (actual stomach, right after eating). Not sure what that's about, but it's making me nervous. Got blood drawn for preeclampsia. Did anyone have stomach pain?

I ask bc my contractions now hurt more bc of it. So I can't tell what's harmless.

Red I've had severe stomach pain after eating, but only after breakfast, so basically only after eating on a completely empty tummy. My pain is mostly up high but I really have to breathe through it. My dr said reflux
