This might not be to everyone's taste, but Direct.gov have a calculator which will print out a calendar for all your important dates, and a letter you can adjust to inform your employer of everything that's going on.

It's really detailed, and might just make some employers pull their socks up when dealing with you.

It helped me think about when to say I want to start/finish mat leave, and get my head around when I might need to change anything if necessary.

I've added all the dates to my work calendar now, so feel a little more ready.

That will be great for me to use but at the moment it only has until 2009. I am due in January 2010. Hopefully they put the next year on soon!
