how to time sex with ovulation kit

Im almost 40 years old trying desperately conceive with baby nb 2 . we have been trying over year . i have been on Clomid for almost 6 months. ( my cycles are 28-30 days).im using ovulation kit ( test) and getting positives days 14,15. I also go to doc office day 21 to check progesterone. - ovulation confirmed last three months ( last result 72 )
when wuld be the best time to have sex if ovulation kit shows positive day 14?

The day you get the positive and for like 3-4 days after maybe even 5 just to cover your bases. Some people try every other day once their period ends until the next one begins (hopefully it doesn't). Good luck!

thank you for reply, I read somewhere that the best is to BD before ovulation so the sperm is there when egg is released. I have been folowing that for months with no success. We usualy BD day 12, 13, 14 and sometime 15. ( I ovulate day 14-15) It felt like chore. I think that the best would be every other day so the sperm count will be better.

Usually a positive opk means you will be ovulating within the next 3 days. So my guess would be on day 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 just to be sure
