How was your baby after their 8 week MenB injection?

My baby had his 8 week injections today, including the MenB one which they said he may develop a fever from. How was your baby after this vaccination? Did they get a high fever or just a slight one?


We've given calpol and he is asleep and seems fine apart from seeming to have gone off his feeds. Fevers just scare me, so I'm hoping he doesn't get one!

My DD didn't get a fever. She did react badly in general but I think the rotavirus vaccine triggered her reflux. I'm dreading her next lot!

He has 3 doses of calpol all 6 hours appart. He was just very sleepy for a little over 24 hours. Still woke for feeds and fed fine. Grumpy at bum changes because it kept him awake.

Fine after the 8 week jab, just a little grumpy.

The 12 week jabs however were a different story; he got a fever and was a general grump for a good week before he perked back up

she didn't get a fever but was very grouchy for a week.alot of crying and very unsettled. was dreading getting the 12 week vaccines.... after the 12 week she was completely fine.same happy smiley baby as always and I was so relieved.... 16 weeks, she was terrible. again we had a whole week of general grumpiness. not sure what was different but ,maybe it wasn't just the vaccine causing the symptoms as she also had a cold at the 16 week ones. hope your lo is ok x

He was really upset cried for ages on the night and had a slight temp which Calpol sorted, was a horrible jab Tbf he's still got a lump in his leg from where he had the jab xx

Cruz had his today Aswell been sleeping since really he's in bd now but seem unsettled poor babies. X

Morning oh what a night cruz slept fine 7-1 had his milk was boiling hot so had calpol & he pooed then he Wundnt go bk down he was just crying for a hour settled of in with me woke again at just gone three had bit milk and went bk in his cot till just gone 7 it's hot this morning and keeps crying he's just having his milk He's had a runny poop to nasty jabs X

Aww poor Cruz, sorry it was a bad night hun James was ok in the end and didn't get a temperature or anything. He is still off his milk though and not very happy when he's awake

Cruz has been ok this morning happy had his milk ad went to sleep but woke back up inconsolable he's asleep on me now X
