Been TTC for nearly 2 years now and had the HSG 2 weeks ago, I ovulated the next day 2 days earlier than usual. Af was due today and no sign of her. Had bad cramps on Wednesday and Thursday and cramping this am with brown spotting but nothing else, spotting and cramps completely stopped. Been testing since 10dpo with cheapies but BFN so I'm not
Pregnant. Could the cramps have been implantation? I wish. I'm just wondering if the HSG affected anyone else?

I had my HSG in April and didn't have anything similar afterwards. They say that a lot of women have lots of luck getting pregnant after their HSG (and up to three months later)because their tubes are more clear, so maybe there's a chance for you! Did you BD right after or close to it? Also, what was the outcome of your HSG...any blockages?

HSG did not effect my cycle but lap&dye and hysteroscopy did quite considerably, my cycle got almost a week shorter but now 4 cycles later it seems to be getting back to normal. I have heard stories about women getting pregnant after HSG and lap, unfortunately I had no such luck

I had my hsg this cycle (day 8) ovulated 4 days later & af came today (25) a day earlier than usual.

I'd hoped, like others, it would increase my chances, but hsg showed lwft blockage and that's side i ovulated this cycle so obv not made a difference.

Fingers crossed for you, x

Hi, I had a lap, dye and hys and it did affect my cycle, I was about 10 days late for getting my period. I am in the month after and have not ovulated. Totally gutted as I was so hopeful I would be one of those people who had luck imeadiately after a hsg, lap dye. But it was not to be.
I would not worry too much, as yes any interference down there can def affect cycles :0(

I had an HSG this cycle too. AF is 4 days late, I feel very nauseous, fatigued and slightly crampy...but still three BFN's with FRER!!! I'm really trying not to obsess, but obviously I am! Sorry I don't have anything more useful for you other than sympathy...

well we`re seeing a trend I think.. had my hsg last cycle, which was 3 days longer than usual.

I had an HSG a few months ago, and I think it prevented me from ovulating that month, although my period came right on time. I had first a month with zero spotting, followed by a month with spotting from 2 dpo - AF. Crazy. I don't know if the HSG had anything to do with it or if it was just my body being strange! Anyway, hope it was implantation for you!!
