HSG alternatives? 1st round tests

Hi
Really not looking forward to the HSG. Years ago when I tried to have a coil fitted, due to my shape, I suffered horrific pain and bruising.

Has anyone else been for an HSG recently?

I also wondered if there are any other alternatives if it doesnt fit / work?
