Hsg caused delayed ovulation and period?

Hi gals,

So this month I had an hsg done. I was suppose to get my period 2/3 days ago. I usually get it on cd28/29 and it's cd31. There are some unclear information on the internet about a delayed period after an hsg. Anyway, I figured that's probably what's happening. Well, I decided to take an opk today because i though maybe if my period is late, my ovulation schedule is delayed too. well, i got a smiley face and the line was darker than the control line.

Has anyone experienced this before? Could the hsg delayed my ovulation by 2 weeks? I just can't believe if I usually ovulate on CD14, I am ovulating on CD31? WEIRD!!

Some thoughts would be appreciated.

Are u sure you are not pregnant.I had a HSG last cycle,and late..but my cycle has been a little irregular the past 2 months.I thought ov tests show +ve...if u r late, u might as well take a hpt.There is a higher chance this month as ur tubes are all clear

I guess I am reluctant to think I'm pregnant. It's been a year of thinking i've been preggo and nothing. Maybe. I think I may wait a few days and do an htp. How late was your period after your HSG? Maybe I'll wait a week. The whole OPK thing is weird, but I called the hubby and said, we are bding tonight and for the next couple of days

I dont wait for AF anymore..as of today considering a normal 33 day cycle im very late as i ovulated only on cd 30..and this is the cycle after hsg...im yet to come on..but its still better than my cycle before hsg which was 56 days..i ovulated somewhere around cd 40 or something.

Just wait a few days and take a test.HSG doesnt seem to delay the cycle .

I had a HSG last cycle and my AF came as it normally does. Did u have urs before u ovulated? If so theres a chance u cud be pregnant. I had mine done after i ovulated so i had to not TTC for taht cycle.
