HSG Test

Had my test this morning and while there was some mild cramping, it was pretty tolerable. I took a couple advil before hand, just in case.

My tubes were not blocked and it appeared the dye went through fairly easily after a couples rolls to the left and right.

So I guess that is now eliminated from the possible issues and we keep trying and / or testing!

I'm now trying to get an appointment with a FS in case we need to move on to the next level.

Now no one told me that we couldn't TTC this month. Did anyone else hear this?

You can still ttc if you've had the test prior to ovulation.

It's just that if it's after ov, you could dislodge the embryo or expose it to xray if conception had occured.

From your ticker, it looks like it was prior to, so that's great.

I have heard both. Ive heard some doctors recommend not ttc due to the presence of the dyes, but Ive also read of ladies concieving and having prefectly healthy pregnancies the month of the test!
