Hey ladies.
My doc is having me re-do the HSG test from March next cycle (provided, of course, I'm not pregnant). She thinks that the inability to see the right tube was either the fact that the radiologist's inability to get the catheter through the cervix and not being able to put enough dye through OR a tubal spasm.
She was able to verify with an IUI catheter (about the same size or larger than the test catheter) that it can indeed be passed through the cervix if done properly. I now know what to tell the next doctor who does it how she was able to get through since it is "tricky." So that shouldn't be an issue.
The tubal spasm though could re-occur.
So...
... does anyone have any tips or ideas for how to keep the tubes from spasming during the procedure?
