I've been told by someone at the hospital that I can't have a HSG for three months because of the miscarriage.
But then my FS secetary just said she didn't think that was the case. . . .

Is this true?

the radiography department are the best people to speak to about this and if not, speak to your fertility specialist x

Yeah she said she would get in contact with them and get back to me O:)

I can't see my FS until August 31st or maybe even November / December depending on when they can do my HSG :(

I can think of a couple reasons not to --

(1) you have increased fertility after a miscarriage, so it would be a waste of resources on the part of the NHS as you may get pregnant soon.

(2) there is a minute possibility that you may still be pregnant and/or the miscarriage is incomplete, and they don't want to introduce the fetus to radiation.

(3) depending on how long you were pregnant, it may take time for your uterus to return to normal. Anything other than a normal follicular stage could produce incorrect results on the HSG.

Thanks Moxie O:)

I know if they say I have to wait they'll have their reason but it's so frustrating!!

I'm not quite sure. I had a m/c on March 18 & had an HSG on May 25 (a little over 2 months later- not 3 months). In scheduling the HSG they didn't seem concerned how long it had been since my m/c. They originally scheduled it a few weeks earlier, but I was going on vacation. I would check with your RE, but I'm thinking it won't be a huge concern.
