Hey Girlies, So I'm sure lots of you may remember my thread
"Oh no! Hubby wants to prevent again!"

Well....we got talking properly last night about everything regarding having a baby-the good the bad and the ugly, and if I'm honest, I thought he'd only agreed to TTC to keep me happy. Which isn't OK. So after our conversation last night I am just so excited, he REALLY wants to have a baby, to be a Father, to go through the whole pregnancy with me, he said "I just feel like were ready for this".... Oh the excitment! I think I am about to BURST!!!

It's one thing your hubby agreeing to it, its another when he wants it just as much as you do!

My thread has no other purpose than to share my excitment with you girls!

Ahhhhhh, i'm so happy for you! I had the same thing about 2 months ago, my OH said something about not realising when we spoke about NTNP it actually meant i could get pg, then he freaked out and was determined to use condoms - what a div!

However, yesterday he woke up and said "You're having my babies you" because he'd had a dream about it + it made him realise he's ready.. And i'm soo happy again!

You've been TTC for 3years? Wow! Thats a long time, you look quite young as well... I'm just so happy that were on the same page now... This may be a bit TMI but anyway here goes..... We dtd this morning, and afterwards he lay down and put his head on my belly and started petting it like it was a dog!! haha, then he said our Baby will grow in here real soon. then got up and kissed me... It was so lovely!

It is a long time aye been ttc since i was 18, young i know..
Awh! It's adorable when they proper get into it, i know my OH is gonna be the same - he called me a future yummy mummy this morning!! x

Personally I think age is irrelevant, as long as your in a stable relationship, financially able to provide for your baby and prepared to lay down your own life for your child then go for it! Have u guys had any medical investigation?

Nope, no medical stuff yet - my doc won't even see me because of my age. I need a new one asap.

I've just ordered some opks so i'm gonna see if i actually do ovulate in the next couple of months and do the SMEP plan too.. In all fairness, the past 3 years we haven't seen each other every day so we've been NTNP and i always have signs of Ov'ing on a Tues or Wed - and i used to see him Thurs-Sun! So hopefully when we move in together properly in a month or so it'll be easier to actually try x

It is such a wonderful feeling when they are on the same page as you and share the same excitement as you do. Especially for a man to actually admit it, it takes a lot.

i wish i was lucky enough for my oh not to constantly prevent but thats all he ever does
ive given up hope for this month

you must feel over the moon though. im really happy for you. it will make you ttc experience much more enjoyable knowing that your oh is on the same page as you. its so important to have that mutual understanding and agreement.

Aw Thanks Girlies, I am just so excited to have him on board, hes even talking about visiting the doctor to make sure everything is good with him and see if there are any suppliments or anything he can take to make the swimmers, swim more? haha!
