I have been in love with the name Lochlan for weeks. It is absolutely perfect and sounds wonderful with out other boys names. Hubby was indifferent but said he's ok with it he just wants to pick the middle name. No big deal right? He came back with Wolfe... I don't hate it ... I don't know how I feel about it lol he wants it because it means William in Yiddish and his middle name (well one of 2) is William. We give our son Jaxton his other middle name , James. So Lochlan Wolfe... It's different but is it bad different ?

I always said I wanted to call my son Wolfie, like in Amadeus. DH didn't agree though in my case, he wanted more traditional Spanish names, I would certainly go for it, its great!

I think if you get lochlan love that. That you should let your husband pick the middle I think Wolfe is really neat and he will definitely be an original.

It's not my type of name but I think it's cute as well as being a strong name, and because it's a middle name Id be fine with it- I like the link behind it too

seems fine... might be odd if your other kids had all classic names but Jaxton is alternative enough that wolfe wont seem wierd

I really like the name Wolfe!! I think the two names go well together

Thank you all ☺ I'm glad I came back to positive responses! You ladies are awesome :hugs:

I have a Lachlan 💛 his middle name is David after my dad. I think Wolfe is strong and I'm not normally into overly unique names but there's something strong and cool about Wolfe :)

I think it might work actually - it even kind of sounds like Lochlan would have two last names! Because Wolfe can be a last name as well!

Love it! Really strong cool name!
Didn't read all the replies, but strong and cool seem to be central!! Go fr it!

I think it goes well with Lochlan and sounds good as sibsets with your other boys. A nice strong name!

I love it. Spelling and everything. I think it sounds great and is also meaningful

Wow I think it's really awesome! Such a great middle name. Much better than boring old "Colin" that my DH chose :haha:
