Huge leaking boobs!!!

Anyone else hate the early days of breastfeeding.. I always have so much milk.. My boobs are so full all the time.. Leak everywhere when feeding and make my lo cough and splutter at least once usually more every feed as the flow is too much for her! Drives me mad!! I hate these gigantic boobs!!!!

Mine were like this with my first. It was always so frustrating. They're like this sometimes now and he always chokes on it and can't cope!
You can express some milk to take the edge off it, but not too much in case it increases your supply even more!

I thought about expressing but she feeds so often I'd be doing it constantly! I have started expressing 3oz every other morning so there is a little store if I go out. So scared of increasing my supply tho! Just hate having huge swollen boobs nothing fits nicely xx

Yeah my supply is unreal right now. She coughs almost every time. I have to express sometimes just for some relief.

I hate this too! I feel like such a mess all the time lol I have started expressing twice a day 1 Oz each side to try taking a little edge off but sadly think it's still causing me to produce more so may have to quit doing that. Hopefully it regulates for us soon!!

For the first couple of months I would bring baby to breast to initiate let down, remove him and soak through a cloth diaper insert, and then put him back to breast. It helped enormously. No more choking/gulping, and it meant baby got a full belly of hindmilk rather than just air and foremilk.
