Anyone else find these rubbish? I used pampers at first but only had a couple of packs but I got loads of huggies in asda baby event and they almost always leak! Ive just picked LO up went into the kitchen and heard a splat of water on the floor and it was from his nappy! Typical that I have about 3 box's of huggies! :dohh:

Hey,

I much prefer pampers nappies as I've never ever had a leaky one with either of my girls. I find the newborn huggies are ok and I've never had an issue with size 1 and 2 but I remember buying some huggies size 4 and 5 for my eldest and they would leak quite easily whereas like I said with pampers I never had any issues!

I use To use pampers but they leaked. Now I use huggies baby dry hey are the best ive used to be honest. They are a perfect fit for my little chappy

We bought a few boxes of each size of pampers when I was pregnant, We got a few packets of huggies when she was inbetween sizes as they were that little bit cheaper but to be honest I found them rubbish. At the moment she's between a size 2-3 and I'm using ALDI nappies as I have pampers size 3. ALDI nappies are brilliant, I cannot fault them and for half the price!!! I'll be going back to ALDI when all the pampers are gone :D

I prefer Pampers for non-leaking!

I have just however taken delivery of over 200 Just for Bums nappies from Kiddicare. I just hope they're decent!

I had the same prob with Higgins, just take the unopened pack back to where u got them and u should be able to swap them x

We are deffinatly on the side of pamPers over huggies, a midwife told me huggies can be better for boys and pampers for girls for some reason but I'm not sure how true it is. The fit on huggies isnt great for us and they leak more often than pamPers, we bought 2 boxes while I was pregnant almost finished them and won't buy any again.

huggies are rubbish my lo would soak right through them i also dont like pampers she did the same thing lol, i use tescos only ones that hold in her pee.

We did the same and now have two big boxes of Huggies which we don't like. We bought big boxes of the Huggies wipes (white pack with coloured hand prints) and they are rubbish! They rip when we take them out of the packet and typical we have about 10 packs left! Pampers nappies and Johnsons wipes are the way to go!

Huggies leaked for us aswell, I thinks its because they dont have that tab at the side that wraps round a bit. We use pampers active fit for day and baby dry for night x

I used Huggys and found that little un wet up her back where her wee had run, I'm now using pampers.

Nope, hate Pampers. They smelled chemically. Huggies have never leaked for us :)

I find the same thing with the huggies wipes, they're rubbish as like you say they rip really easily.

We either use pampers or tescos or morrisons own brand.

I like Huggies snug and dry- keep my baby girl dry all night (she sleeps 12 hours) and don't have that fanky smell like some other diapers. If Olivia has big explosive surprise - then we might have a small leak. But I had it with Pampers: swaddlers, dry and also sensitive one. So sticking with Huggies-less damage ;-)

Siuan - I want to try the just4bums but worried about buying so many and them being no good!

Funnily enough I really like the huggies pure wipes just not the nappies! I might see if I can take them back, don't have the receipt though so it's doubtful!

I did exactly the same, bought a couple of big boxes of Huggies cause they were on offer and wished I hadn't! They leaked wee around the sides all the time even when they were hardly full.

I ended up using them for her nursery mainly as they change every two hours on the dot regardless of how wet they are and if I had to do a change not long before bathtime cause I knew they would be almost dry!

We use Pampers Babydry and rarely have any problems.

I was given loads of huggies nappies and they are indeed really crap.

My mum bought me some from Tescos, and used Pampers while in the hodpital and they were so much better.

I love the huggies wipes... never used the nappies.

We started off with Pampers because they were the only place that did locally stocked preemie sized nappies apart from Tesco - still tend to alternate between Pampers or Tesco now. If anything, now we're out of preemie size (I hated the Tesco size 0 nappies) - I prefer Tesco's own really... but the fact they have different animals on the front amuses me more than it probably should and I can have loads of conversations aimed at the baby (but really with myself) about if it's a lion, or a giraffe nappy.

I liked the Huggies newborn but after that I hated them! We only use Pampers. Can you go back and exchange the unopened boxes? I did that a lot when people kept buying us boxes as gifts, I'd just make sure the store sold them first and then asked to exchange them without a receipt
