Huggies nappies

I love huggies, have used them since she was born and had a few leaks in the beginning but think that was more to do with how I was putting them on! Now since about LO being 1 week old, not a single leak. No rashes. Nothing. I use the with huggies aloe wipes or pure cotton wipes. Both work a treat

:flow:

here's our nappy history :-)

bought loads of boxes of Huggies size 1,2 & 3 pre baby being born - size 1 leaked terribly so I sold them as a batch on ebay for £45!
Went onto Asda own, little angels I think the brand is and they were great up till size 2 when I switched to tesco.

Tesco size 3 started to then leak when I moved up to them and i'm now back to Huggies size 4 which don't leak and see her through the night....

Phew!! lol

i think its trial and error and recommendation from friends x

I had this problem with my first LO, i just took all my boxes of nappies back to Asda and they kindly let me exchange them for pampers, hehe.

I agree that huggies are crap. I don't know if its just my babies that they don't seem to work on because i know lots of people think they're great....but they definitely don't work in this household!

We've been using the Huggies Snug & Dry for months now and really like them. She's never leaked with them - even overnight. Pampers leaked when we used them. Guess we're in the minority here....lol!

I think it really depends on the baby. My wee man has very chubby thighs. Has that shown to be the difference for most? Pampers seemed too tight and too small on him even in the bigger sizes :flower:

I don't always buy brand name, but I HATE how huggies fit! When I do buy brand name, I go for Luvs or Pampers, as they seem to fit the best.

Did you have receipts hun or did they just exhange them? I've got two boxes there would be great if I could exhange for pampers!

My mum got me some of the little Angels which seem nice softer than huggies but there way to big yet so haven't tried them.

I may try just4bums then after some of the comments, I like the thought of only needing to buy the box and there in for the month!

Xxx

In our case I think so....seems like the Pampers run smaller in size to the Huggies. They just fit better around her belly and they come up higher too.

Anyone else find these rubbish? I used pampers at first but only had a couple of packs but I got loads of huggies in asda baby event and they almost always leak! Ive just picked LO up went into the kitchen and heard a splat of water on the floor and it was from his nappy! Typical that I have about 3 box's of huggies! :dohh:

Xxx

I have moved on to asdas own brand little angels as these are much cheaper and twice as thick and very absorbant. I found huggies awful

I found huggies awful when LO was small. I had some newborn ones and some that fit him around 4 months old that i bought or got given while pregnant and pretty much every single one leaked :growlmad:

I have recently opened another box of them also what i got when pregnant, i think they are size 24lb + and they are fine on him now and only had a couple of leaks although i wouldn't use them overnight. Still not a big fan of the nappies in general though.

Tesco own and Asda are great, as are pampers baby dry for overnight

I hate Huggies.Pampers anyday for me.

Yes. I think theyre useless!
tried these when LO was newborn, they leaked constantly. I switched to pampers, but now LO is 10 month, I've switched to Little Angels as these are just as good! :D

Huggies always leak for us, do we have pampers instead, want to try the just for bums but not heard a lot about them x

Just had to change Isabelle which is first during the night but we've run out of huggies and pampers seem to soak threw :growlmad:

I think I'm the minority that love huggies lol xx

I found huggies newborn ok but superdry awful! They leak so much, even if they're not full! I've been avoiding them but have millions so have to make a start on during the day wearing!

I use pampers baby dry or asdas little angels (reduced to £3 a box so I thought bugger it) which are just as good as each other IMO, never had a leak from either!

Got a couple packs of active fit and a pack of natural fit for when he starts moving more (not that I can keep him still now) although I've no idea if there's a difference!

Use mostly huggies pure wipes, never tear unless Euan gets hold, find pampers just too wet.

Hated them in the beginning. we changed to pampers and havent looked back since.
