My 4 month old was sleeping through the night for about two weeks and then after a horrid cold has been waking again around 4. He has seemed hungry but he is such a terrible feeder during the day I have been able to keep him going till his first morning bottle. (If he had one early it would throw his routine for the whole day) he is on comfort milk at the moment but do you think hungry baby might be the way to go? He is a huge baby 17.5lbs now (born at 9.15lbs) he has a spoon of baby rice at about 5pm and goes to bed at 7 with a dream feed at 10.30. Any advise?

My LO has always been similar - not a great milk drinker during the day, so I feel your pain.

That said, I really don't get the concept behind Hungry Baby Milk. We don't have something similar in the US (to my knowledge), so perhaps I just need to be enlighted. But, it just doesn't make sense to me. Babies have tiny tummies and it's natural for them to eat a small amount frequently. Filling them up with an unnaturally heavy milk so that they will be more full or go longer between feeds doesn't seem very healthy to me.

In short, if it were me I would stick with regular formula.

I worked my way around to thinking this too!! Thanks for the reply x
