weaning my little pufflet atm, she has cereal plus fruit mash for breakfast, hungry milk bottle by noon, Pureed food and fruit mash for dinner and bottle before bed. Inbetween these feeds she usually eats a banana, an advocado and breastmilk...

Today I read on the back of her hungry milk carton that when baby is 6 months, you move on to follow on milk, but why do they than have suggested amount all the way to 1 year of age?

Does anyone know what´s the different between number 2(hungry milk) and 3 (follow on milk)? Is it alright to stick with 2 or do you need to change to 3?

:flower:

It's fine to stick to 2. We stuck to one well after 1 year old

You dont have to change to stage 3 milk. Staying on stage 1 or 2 until they can drink cows milk is fine. A couple of reasons people choose to switch is that stage 3 contains extra vits, mins and iron and also you can get clubcard points and offers on stage 3 milks. xxx
