Hydrocephalus

Our little man has hydrocephalus and is currently being monitored everyday and the neurosurgeons are coming to assess him in a couple of days. Has anyone had experience of this? Struggling a little as he has done so well and now faces surgery and a life long condition x any advice would be very welcome

I don't have personal experience of it but the wee boy beside my dd had it and he had a shunt put in. His had started to resolve as he got to term. He had the shunt removed last year a few months before his 3rd birthday. He has hemiplegia on one side but he started walking just before his 2nd birthday and his speech is amazing.

My nephew was hydrocephalic. It was very difficult for my sister, but he was the sweetest little boy ever. I pray that your little is okay.
