Blue!
I went to urgent care because I thought I had a kidney stone (back/flank pain) because I had them with my last pregnancy. They decided I needed to go to the ER asap.. Well I went for an ultrasound of my kidneys/ureters and bladder, and the tech wanted to take a look at my bladder for whatever reason. Well, when she went to go over my bladder she jumped and said "Hello little person!" And I just started hysterically laughing ! You would have thought they would have told her I was pregnant? But I asked her that and she said they normally did but they were busy. Well she asked if we knew what we were having, and asked if we wanted to!! It's a boy! He's beautiful and lazy and healthy.
I do have hydronephosis and it is SUPER painful.. I was hoping for a stone because it would pass and all would be said and done. Now I'm reading that this is typically a third trimester thing and that I'm pretty much in for a long painful pregnancy. Doctors said if it starts to inhibit kidney function I will need to get a stent placed so I am assuming they'll be monitoring me closely. I have an appointment with the urologist Monday... anyone have experience with this?
