Hi ladies! I haven't posted in a long time but I'm struggling. I have PCOS & conceived last year after 3 medicated IUI's. I found out at my 6 week ultrasound that my baby was ectopic. We took the last year off from treatment thinking we could somehow get pregnant naturally.

Fast forwar to yesterday.... I was in a lot of pain so I went to the ER thinking I might have a cyst on one of my ovaries. They diagnosed me with Hydrosalpinx of the right tube... My only tube, since the left one was removed after the ectopic ruptured it. I'm waiting on a call back from my GYN to schedule an appointment to discuss my options, but all the information I've found seems to spell out the death of my fertility. Has anyone else had this? Did you have it removed? I'm thinking I'm going to have to have it removed because of how much pain I'm in. Also, I'm wondering if it is possible for the tube to rupture because of the fluid build-up??

Any help/info would be great because I am quite honestly freaking out!!!

Hydrosalpinx is fluid build up, I haven't heard of a tube rupturing because of it.

But I can say is that key whole surgery is required, they normally remove or clip the tubes, because it has toxic fluid which can kill the eggs, (or embryo when having ivf)

The success in fixing ur tube and it not coming back is 5%.

I had both my tubes clipped due to this, and do not feel its the death of fertility. If just takes you down another route.
