Hi all.
I was extremely ill in my first pregnancy, lots of complications and hyperemesis from start too finish. I lost 3 stone I was that sick. I had a girl. I have been told it could have been the hormones giving me all my migraines and making me so sick.

I haven't been sick at all this time and only had the odd headache so is it likely I am having a boy? As there are less hormones in me?

X

I was the same - with my girl I knew I was pregnant long before a test showed up positive because the sickness started almost immediately, and continued for a good bit of my pregnancy, and I lost a good bit of weight. With my boy I didn't even know I was pregnant for a good while, and apart from about 2 weeks of moderate nausea, I had no problems that way at all.

So maybe .....

If it weren't for my leaking breasts I wouldn't know I was pregnant. With my daughter I had been in hospital twice on a drip already and I'm only 15 weeks.
The wait is killing me! I want to know lol.
I am having the dream pregnancy this time, I had the worst night are pregnancy last time x

I had awful sickness both pregnancies, vomited up to 10 times a day and had a boy and a girl

I had no sickness at all and had a girl.

Yep, I had NO symptoms with my boy. Until I could feel movement I just wouldn't have known. But I was sick sick with my girl!

It's possible but it's a 50/50 chance! I've had with my pregnancies everything from hyperemesis which led to me being hospitalised later on in the pregnancy with malnutrition and electrolyte imbalances, to only being sick once and mostly feeling ok and everything in between. All of mine are boys xx

My first pregnancy I was very sick. I had a boy.

Second pregnancy I was only sick once at 13 weeks. I had a girl. My girl pregnancy was much easier. I think my body was just better at being pregnant the second time though.

This is interesting to hear. I had hyperemisis with my 1st pregnancy and had a girl. I was sick from 6w until I gave birth, lost wait and she was also a bit small. I'm scared to go again and DH has been asking.

My first was a boy and pregnancy was a breeze. No sickness, felt great all the way through. Lovely and healthy the whole time.

This time I am team pink and I have been sick the ENTIRE time. Its driving me nuts. 6 weeks to go, yay!!

I had no symptoms & had a girl.

My friend had no symptoms with her first and had a boy. Her second pregnancy she was very sick & had another boy.

Congrats on the pregnancy! X

I was induced with my daughter as she had stopped growing because of the hyperemesis.
I was terrified to get pregnant again as there is no way I could look after izzy if I was the same with her in this pregnancy. Luckily I have a very supportive family!
And my consultant and counsellor told me that every pregnant is different so not to be afraid of what might happen x

my first 2 pregnancies were very similar, No morning sickness weight gain all over Hips, Butt, Thighs... needed maternity clothes @ around 9 weeks... both GIRLS!

This pregnancy I've had morning sickness up til 13 weeks ALL DAY EVERYDAY! Gained only in my Belly and Chest! Still wearing regular clothes @ 24 weeks... it's a GIRL!

NOW that I had the scan I KNOW it really is 50/50 even tho I've read it was correct for many women but NOT ALL! I hope you are one of the many! Good Luck ;)

We find out on Saturday :)
I really don't mind what we have as I would love all girls and love 1 of each.
I've convinced myself it's a boy so will be shocked if they say girl!

First pregnancy no sickness no real symptoms, boy. This pregnancy vv sick multiple time a day, not sure the gender but I'm predicting girl just because of the dramatic difference.

Just wanted to update you all..

It's a girl :pink:
So every pregnancy really is different! I am so shocked but so happy.

i was going say no, none MS doesnt mean boy

Ive heard more women with HG go on to have boys so really no pattern in it. Congrats on your second pink bundle.
