Hi all!
I am 31 year old Sandy I come from Greece and I am delivering my first baby boy on Monday when is coincidentally my birthday as well :happydance:
Due to the fact that the baby is upside down, I will unfortunately go under cesarian. It is pertinent to say how scared I am and how anxious I feel for the big day.I am worried of the possibility the epidural does not work or if anything harmful happens to the baby. I know I sound paranoid but it's my first time and do not know what to meet.Any experiences or consolation words are welcome:cry:
Glad to meet you all :)

Welcome! Congrats on your upcoming delivery.
I had an emergency c-section with an epidural. Although it was not how I wanted things to go it wasn't that bad. Be sure to get up and around as soon as you are able, it will help you to recover faster. Also take all the pain meds offered! You will be fine.
Good luck. Look foward to seeing you around baby club in the next couple of weeks. The ladies there are great to answer any questions.:flower:

P.S. Happy Birthday!

P.S. Happy Birthday!

Oh thank you so much for your wishes! It's just that the whole sense of being awake while someone stabs my belly (creepy!) scares me and makes me think that I may feel the whole surgery pain.I am also looking forward to meet you there, thanks again!!

what a lovely birthday present for you :) i'm sure everything will go fine, though being nervous is perfectly normal! i have not had a c-section so have no advice but sending you :hugs:

Wow you are so kind and sweet thank you so much!!!:hugs:

Its okay to be nervous, but don't think you may feel any pain during the surgery. There are always going to be horror stories. They made sure I was numb. They must have pinched me 100 times just to make sure. Enjoy your last weekend baby free. Go out with the oh and then try to just relax and do nothing. I know its hard to do, but HONESTLY it will be a while before you get to do "nothing" again.

i agree with angel. have a lovely weekend and pamper yourself as it'll be a long time til you get to spend much time on yourself :hugs: will be thinking of you on monday!
