I am usually really uptight and worrisome when it comes to stuff like this. But throughout my entire pregnancy I was so calm, so I think that was what helped me the day of. I had a fantastic labour and birth. I chose to have and epidural which I was so thankful for, my labour lasted about 14 hours. Which pretty much consisted of me laying in the hospital bed all comfy and cozy. The nurses told me it was time to push, it lasted 1 1/2 hours (but felt like 20 minutes to me). Out came my 9.5lbs baby (which I didn't have any tears or complications), and the first thing I said after it was over was, "I can do this again!"
The biggest thing is not to stress, I kept thinking about the fact that women do this everyday so can I! I recommend getting the epi, but if you want to go natural more power to you! Just think of the precious bundle you get to hold when it it all over!
